Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 1/2 to 4 lb. chuck roast
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 1/4 c. water
    6 potatoes
    6 carrots
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In a 6-quart pot, place oil.
    Brown roast on all sides.
    Cut off fat.
    Stir in mushroom soup mix and 1 cup water.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and cook 2 hours.
    Add vegetables.
    Cover and cook 45 minutes or until roast and vegetables are tender.
    Recover roast.
    Stir flour and remaining 1/4 cup water until smooth. Mixture boils and thickens.
