Low-Fat Chicken Soup For One - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. reduced calorie margarine
    1/2 c. diced carrot
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 tsp. flour
    pinch of black pepper
    1 packet low-sodium chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. basil
    2 oz. cubed chicken or turkey
    3/4 oz. pasta
    1/8 tsp. salt
    pinch of red pepper (optional)
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, melt margarine.
    Add carrot and onion. Cook, stirring frequently, 4 to 5 minutes until tender.
    Stir in flour and black pepper.
    Cook 1 minute longer.
    Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, broth, packet and basil; bring to boil.
