Oven Smoked Turkey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 to 12 lb.) turkey
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. Season-All seasoned salt (McCormick)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 Tbsp. liquid smoke
1/4 c. pepper, freshly ground (or regular)
Preparation

Grease a large brown paper grocery bag well with vegetable oil and set aside.
Preheat oven to bake at 350\u00b0.
Wash turkey and pat dry.
Combine all of the ingredients together to form a paste.
Rub the turkey well with the paste, inside and out.
Place the turkey in the greased bag, tying bag with a string.
Place on a broiler pan and roast at 350\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven and let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening bag.
Remove turkey and carve.
Serves 10 to 12.
