Shoo-Fly Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. light molasses
Preparation
    Stir together flour, sugar and baking soda.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
    Reserve 1/3 cup of crumbs. Stir together hot water and molasses.
    Add to crumb mixture; stir until blended.
    Pour into greased 9 x 1 1/2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
