3/4 c. bran*
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg or equivalent egg substitute
1/3 c. honey
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. shredded carrots
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

*Do not
use bran flakes or bran cereal.
Use raw bran, also referred to as miller's bran.
