Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cream
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. baking chocolate
Preparation

Cook cream, milk, sugar and butter over low heat until it makes a soft ball in cold water.
Break up the 1/4 pound of chocolate in a large bowl and add 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring. Pour hot mixture over chocolate and beat until it is thick enough to spread over cake.
