Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded, peeled potatoes
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Place rinsed potatoes in a large bowl.
    Add egg, flour, onion, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Heat oil over medium heat.
    Drop batter by 1/3 cupful into hot oil; flatten to form pancakes.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Serve immediately.
