Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. soda
peanut butter to taste
1 c. buttermilk
butter (size of walnut)
Preparation

Cook sugar, buttermilk and syrup to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat and add butter, soda and peanut butter.
Beat until smooth and begins to thicken.
Pour into 8 x 8-inch square pan.
