Cream Cheese Danish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    fruit spread (optional)
Preparation
    Roll out one can crescent rolls in greased rectangular baking dish.
    Press seams together.
    Blend the cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk together until smooth.
    Pour mixture into pan; spread evenly.
    Top with second can of crescent rolls.
    Brush with egg white; sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown. Serve hot with fruit spread.
