Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. oil
    1 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. chopped green peppers
    2/3 c. uncooked long grain rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes or 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Add bay leaf when rice mixture is in casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until rice and vegetables are cooked.
    Remove bay leaf before serving.
