Pork Chops And Rice(Serves 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 pork chops
2 tsp. salt
1 c. rice
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. sliced onions
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. apple juice
1 cooking apple
Preparation

Brown chops well on both sides.
Season with 1 teaspoon salt. Combine rice, raisins, onions, brown sugar, nutmeg and remaining salt in shallow casserole; mix well.
Heat water and apple juice together and pour over rice mixture.
Top with chops.
Core apple and cut into 12 wedges.
Arrange 2 wedges per chop.
Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Uncover last 5 minutes of cooking time.
