Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. brown sugar or 1 c. brown and 1 c. granulated
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend butter, sugar and eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients together and stir into butter mixture; mix well.
    Add nuts and vanilla. Divide dough into 2 parts; shape each in a roll.
    Wrap in wax paper and chill in refrigerator until firm enough to slice.
    Slice and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until light brown.
