Chuck Roast Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. boned chuck roast (about 2 inches thick)
    6 medium potatoes (about 2 lb.), peeled and cut in half
    1 Tbsp. chopped dried chives
    2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Trim fat from meat.
    Place in large baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
    Roast at 350\u00b0
    for 1 hour.
    Spoon off fat.
    Arrange potatoes around roast.
    Combine chives and soup, pour over meat and potatoes.
    Cover.
    Bake 2 hours more or until meat and potatoes are tender.
    Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
    Bake until cheese melts.
