Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    small cucumbers
    1/2 c. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    5 c. water
    dill seed or fresh dill
    garlic
    hot pepper
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and pack in clean jars.
    Add two to four pieces of garlic (depending on flavoring desired) and two hot peppers. If using dill seed, use three teaspoons to a jar or an equal amount of fresh dill.
