Raisin Spice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box seedless raisins (15 oz)
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1/4 lb margarine
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp powdered cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup cold water
4 cups flour
1 tbsp baking soda
Preparation

Boil the raisins in the 2 cups of water slowly for 20 minutes.
Add sugar, margarine and allow mixture to cool.
Add cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cold water.
Sift together the flour and baking soda, add to the raisin mixture and mix together until smooth.
Pour mixture into a greased 10 inch tube pan, bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
