Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. water
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream together butter or margarine and brown sugar until mixture is fluffy.
    Add molasses and eggs, beat well.
    Add flour to creamed mixture alternating with water; mix well.
    Pour mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Cool thoroughly; sift powdered sugar over top.
    Cut into squares.
