Apple Caramel Pudding(A Favorite Family Dessert, I Named.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large apples (about 4 c.), peeled, cored and diced
    1/2 c. each: white sugar and packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large egg (unbeaten)
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. each: chopped walnuts and raisins
Preparation
    Measure the ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
    Stir all together thoroughly, until all the ingredients are well blended. Turn into a 9-inch square pan or casserole and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven, moderately hot, for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm with cream, whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. Serves 6 to 8.
