My Mom'S Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Minute rice
    chopped onion to taste
    about 2 lb. ground beef (not browned)
    1 1/2 to 2 c. ketchup
    1 head cabbage
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Parboil cabbage, about 10 to 15 minutes.
    Mix all ingredients, using only about 1/3 to 1/2 cup ketchup.
    Wrap meat mixture in cabbage leaves.
    Lay small cabbage leaves on bottom of pot.
    Put 1 quart or so of water to 1/2 to 1 cup ketchup.
    Stir together to make sauce.
    Cook over stove top until meat is done, about 1 or 1 1/2 hours at most.
    Great with mashed potatoes.
