Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion
milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together using enough milk to make a moist or thick batter.
Drop in hot, deep oil.
Cook until brown.
