Quick Sauteed Summer Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 small tender yellow crookneck squash
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 small onion, diced
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash and slice squash vertically, then set aside.
    Melt margarine on low heat in skillet.
    Add onion and simmer until soft.
    Place squash in skillet with onion.
    Add garlic, salt, pepper and sugar.
    Saute over low heat, then cover and simmer until tender.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 4 to 6.
