Country Style Macaroni - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. boiled ham, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
1 c. chopped onion
1 lb. elbow macaroni
2 c. peeled and diced raw potatoes
3 c. sliced green cabbage
3 Tbsp. olive oil
5 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. dry white wine
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. dry marjoram
1 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Preparation

Boil 5 cups water; add potatoes, cabbage and macaroni with salt.
Stir often.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter with olive oil.
Add onion and ham cubes.
Stir in pinch of salt and pepper.
Add wine, parsley and marjoram.
Cook 15 minutes.
Put together this sauce and macaroni mixture.
Add remaining melted 3 tablespoons butter and cheese on top.
Serve with salad and French bread.
