Ten Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head chopped lettuce
    1 large, chopped onion
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1 head chopped cauliflower
    1 pkg. Italian dressing mix
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 jar bacon bits
    1 box uncooked, frozen peas
Preparation
    In a large casserole dish, layer ingredients in order: lettuce, onion, bell pepper, cauliflower, peas, mayonnaise, sugar, dressing mix, bacon bits and cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate several hours before serving.
    Will keep about 4 days.
