Turkey Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 large clove garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 lb. ground turkey
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes in tomato puree
    1 can kidney beans
    1/4 c. shredded cheese (for garnish)
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil in large skillet over medium heat until tender.
    Crumble turkey into skillet.
    Cook until brown. Stir in chili powder, oregano and salt.
    Cook a few seconds.
    Stir in tomatoes.
    Bring mixture to boil.
    Lower heat, cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes.
    Add water, if necessary.
    Stir in beans; cook thoroughly.
