Gingerbread Students - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. cloves
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Cool dough.
    Cut with cutters.
    Roll dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
