Best Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    3/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/3 c. peanut butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 beaten egg yolks
Preparation
    Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter together until crumbly; set aside.
    Mix flour, sugar and salt together in saucepan; gradually add milk and cook over low heat until thickened.
    Add egg yolks to 1/2 hot mixture.
    Return to pan.
    Cook, stirring constantly; take off heat and add butter and vanilla.
    Cool. Sprinkle 1/2 peanut butter over crust, then custard and then rest of peanut butter mixture.
    Pour on meringue and brown.
