Rachel'S Pink Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 lemon, cut in half
    2 to 3 sticks cinnamon or handful of cracked cinnamon
    1 cherry Kool-Aid
    1 raspberry Kool-Aid
    1 (46 oz.) pineapple juice
    1 (46 oz.) blended orange/grapefruit juice
    1 Tbsp. almond extract
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Boil sugar in water with lemon, cut and squeezed and thrown in.
    Add cinnamon.
    Boil 5 to 10 minutes.
    Remove cinnamon and lemon rind.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Freeze cherries, strawberries, mandarin oranges, etc. in circle mold to float in center of punch bowl.
    Seven-Up or ginger ale is optional.
