Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising corn meal
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted margarine or shortening
8 wieners

Preparation

Mix first six ingredients and beat until smooth.
Dip wieners in mixture.
Fry in deep fat until brown, approximately 3 minutes. Drain on paper towel.
