Ingredients

1 c. water
1 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook raisins in water until tender.
Beat together butter, sugar, molasses and egg.
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
Add flour and fruit with water to creamed mixture.
