Ingredients

1/4 c. water or beet juice
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. cooked sliced beets
Preparation

Heat first 6 ingredients to boiling.
Add beets; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Serve warm or chilled.
