Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans crushed pineapple
    4 cans mandarin oranges
    1 large jar maraschino cherries
    4 bananas, sliced
    2 boxes vanilla pudding (not instant)
Preparation
    Cook pudding with 2 cups of pineapple juice until thick. Cool; fold in fruit and refrigerate.
