Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag lentils (in dried bean section)
    1 small diced onion
    3 to 4 slices bacon, diced
    2 tsp. flour
    potatoes (optional)
    smoked sausage (optional)
    bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Soak lentils overnight. Bring them to boil in the same liquid and allow to simmer for 3/4 hour. Add diced potatoes and smoked sausage, if desired and cook until potatoes are done. In skillet, brown the onion and bacon and add flour as thickener. Pour quickly into soup mixture. Add bouillon cubes if desired. Serve when ready.
