Sopaipillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening to flour.
    Add water; knead 10 minutes.
    Roll 1/8 inch thick.
    Cut into squares.
    Deep fry.
