Microwave Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    6 medium baking potatoes, pared and sliced thinly
    1 medium onion, diced
    salt and pepper
    paprika
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    4 oz. shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Microwave butter for 45 seconds or until melted.
    Layer 1/3 of potatoes and 1/3 of onion on bottom of 3-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and paprika.
    Sprinkle 1/3 of the cheeses; drizzle with 1/3 of the butter.
    Repeat layers until all ingredients used.
    Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on High for 16 minutes, rotating 1/2 turn after 8 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
