Mexican Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 bacon strips
    3 to 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
    4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. water
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    10 oz. chopped green chiles
    medium Cheddar and Jack cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown bacon in large pan; drain.
    Add the potato cubes and mix.
    Add broth, water, tomato sauce, onion and salt.
    Bring to a simmer and cook until potatoes are tender.
