Vanilla Biscuit Tortoni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed macaroons
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    (Be sure you are using almond macaroons.)
    Mash macaroons to crumbs, then add milk, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Let stand 1/2 hour.
    Whip cream; fold into the macaroon mixture.
    Place cupcake liners in cupcake tins; fill with mixture.
    Freeze until firm. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and top with maraschino cherry.
