Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Boil potatoes for 15 minutes.
    Peel and cut into lengthwise sections.
    Place in buttered baking dish.
    Combine sugar, salt, butter and water in a saucepan.
    Boil for 3 minutes.
    Pour syrup over potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste occasionally with syrup mixture as desired.
