Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. dry roasted, salted peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda, sifted or finely separated
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart microwave glass casserole, stir together sugar and corn syrup.
    Microwave on High 4 to 5 minutes.
    Mixture should come to a vigorous boil in all areas and boil about 1 minute and 15 seconds.
