Polish Sausage And Sauerkraut Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag sauerkraut
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
    1 soup can water
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 lb. kielbasa, cut in 2-inch pieces
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In Dutch oven combine sauerkraut, soup, water and brown sugar. Stir in sausage, potatoes and onion.
    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes until potatoes are tender.
    Spoon off fat.
    Stir in shredded cheese.
    Serves 6 to 8.
