1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. brown sugar or honey
2 c. buttermilk, sour milk* or yogurt
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. oil

*Sour milk can be made with 2 cups milk and 2 tablespoons vinegar.
