Double Fudge Saucepan Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 c. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven at 325\u00b0.
    Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
    In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter and water.
    Cook over low heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Immediately add one cup chocolate chips, stirring until melted.
    Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended.
    Gradually add flour mixture, blending well.
    Stir in remaining chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
    Pour batter in prepared pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes until brownies pull away from side of pan.
    Cool completely.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
