Holiday Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-style green beans, drained
    1 can carrots, drained
    1 can peas, drained
    1 can kidney beans, drained
    1 green pepper, cut into rings
    1 onion, cut in rings
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all vegetables.
    Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and salt and bring to a full boil.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Chill 24 hours.
