Butterscotch Peanut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Add brown sugar and peanut butter.
    Mix well and bring to just boiling over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt and set aside.
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
