Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 or 6 medium potatoes
1/4 c. diced celery
1 small onion, diced
6 strips bacon or ham, cooked
1 egg
1 1/2 qt. milk
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Peel and slice potatoes and place in large heavy pan.
Add onion, celery and bacon or ham. Add just enough water to cover. Salt to taste. Boil until tender. Do not drain.
Beat egg.
Add flour and salt.
Blend well.
Add to potato mixture. Stir and cook 5 minutes. Stir to keep from sticking. Add about 1 1/2 quarts milk depending on desired thickness.
