Spicy Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. peeled, cored, chopped red-ripe tomatoes (24 large)
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. chopped sweet green peppers
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 to 1 1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bring to boiling; simmer until thick as wanted, about 1 to 2 hours.
    Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
    Pour, boiling hot, into hot jars.
    Adjust caps. Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
    Yields about 8 pints.
