Easy Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Put flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt into an ungreased square pan (9 x 9 x 2-inch), mix until blended (in pan) with a fork.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly (1 to 2 minutes).
Bake for 30 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan until ready to be frosted with your favorite frosting or the following glaze.
