Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    2 sq. baking chocolate
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Bring butter and corn syrup to a boil.
    Melt chocolate and add milk; bring to a boil.
    Add sugar and salt; stir until sugar dissolves.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
    Beat until thick.
    Add nuts, if desired.
