Steamed Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. melted fat
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; combine egg, milk and fat.
Add to dry ingredients to make soft dough.
Drop from teaspoon into broth or stew.
(Should be 3 cups broth; add water if necessary.)
Steam 15 minutes.
