    15 c. (approximately) shredded cabbage
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. butter or margarine, melted
    8 to 10 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    salt and pepper to taste
