Easy Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box white or yellow cake mix
    2 cartons or 1 large sour cream
    1 (9 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
    2 pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cake according to package directions.
    Bake in two layers. When cool, split layers to make four layers.
