Crisp Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins or chocolate bits
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. quick-cooking oats
Preparation

Measure into bowl the sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla.
Mix well with wooden spoon, then add raisins.
Measure and sift together 2 times the flour, baking soda and salt.
Add this to the shortening mixture and mix well.
Then stir in oats.
